Committees of the Harrison District Board of REALTORS®

Our committees play a vital role in shaping the real estate landscape in Harrison. Each committee focuses on specific areas to enhance our members' experience and uphold the standards of our profession.

  • RISK REDUCTION

    CHAIR: Melissa Collins


    Organizes 3 broker meetings annually to address industry concerns, provide updates on legal issues, and facilitate changes to forms used by members. It acts as a liaison with the ARA and educates members about new forms each year.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

    CHAIR: Lisa Martin


    Responsible for coordinating new member orientations, CE classes, and training programs. It identifies members’ educational needs and works with sponsors to offer meaningful learning opportunities.

  • PUBLIC RELATIONS

    CHAIR: Becky Greenwood


    Works to promote the REALTOR® brand and enhance its professional image through social media, website content, and outreach. Plans events like the Christmas party and officer installations, and inspires youth to consider real estate careers.

  • AFFILIATE COMMITTEE

    CHAIR: Cindy Dickey


    Focuses on growing affiliate membership by connecting with local businesses. It plans the annual affiliate appreciation luncheon and highlights affiliates through monthly spotlights.

  • SPECIAL OLYMPICS

    CHAIRS: Ben & Carlee Forga


    Organizes fundraising events to support Special Olympics, helping to raise money and awareness for the cause, acts as a liaison between HDBR and ARA for Special Olympics updates, and helps get volunteers for SO events in our area.

  • HEARTS & HOMES

    Chair: Stephanie Bogle


    Provides housing-related assistance to Arkansans affected by disasters or illnesses. The committee raises funds through annual events and collaborates with the ARA Hearts and Homes Committee during emergencies.

  • REALTOR® IMPACT

    Chair: Franklin Harp


    Reviews and prepares applications for the REALTOR® Impact Awards, celebrating members’ contributions to the community. Awards are presented during the REALTOR® Impact Banquet.

  • REALTOR® OF THE YEAR

    Chair: Becky Greenwood


    Manages the nomination and selection of the REALTOR® of the Year, ensuring an anonymous and fair process. The recipient is recognized at local and state levels.

  • MLS COMMITTEE

    Chair: Jeff Pratt


    Chair represents the board on the ArkansasOne MLS governing body, provides quarterly updates to members, and addresses any reported issues or violations.

  • CREDENTIALS COMMITTEE

    Chair: Melissa Collins

    Oversees the nomination & election process for Board of Directors positions, ensuring compliance with policies. It manages communications for elections and prepares ballots.

  • LEGISLATIVE/RPAC

    Chair: Jeff Pratt


    Supports industry advocacy by raising funds for the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), informing members of political and legislative updates, and conducting candidate interviews. It holds annual fundraising events for RPAC.
